Gentle pressure made my teeth tingle/tickle so much I gave up after only 4 uses.

Hi Cougar2,
Thank you for taking the time to give us a feedback, we just want to let you know that we are more than happy to have you! We're sorry to hear that your having an issue using our tooth brush, this is not the kind of experience we want for our customers. You can also try this steps: If your Sonicare model has multiple modes, switch to a gentler or sensitive mode designed for people with sensitive teeth and gums, let the toothbrush do most of the work. Apply only light pressure and guide the brush over your teeth without pushing hard.
If this doesn't work or is there's anything else we can help you with please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare), Instagram. you can also reach out to us via the contact page:https://www.philips.ca/c-w/support-home/support-contact-page. we're glad to have you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using a battery operated toothbrush, but wow, this one is so much better, will never go back to the other kind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this replacement for my Sonicare which I owned for 10 years. I am basically using this new one as a "manual" toothbrush as it has no vibration. I am extremely disappointed. I have discarded the box as I trusted this new model would last as long as my last one. I am disabled and housebound and unable to return it. I've read all troubleshooting and many reviews and cannot solve problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teeth have never been cleaner. I mean it. I'm not sure why I didn't invest in one of these sooner. I was afraid it would be too abrasive on my pearly whites, but to my surprise it cleans effectively yet with a gentle touch. I will be using this product for the rest of my life.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sonic vibration doesn’t turn on when you press the on button. Sometimes it takes up to a minute. Sometimes it turns on and vibrates so hard it hurts my teeth. End up using the sonic toothbrush on the inside gums and then switch to my regular toothbrush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Sonicare toothbrush. I had a previous one I had gotten around 2012 or so that lasted around a decade before it finally refused to charge and stay turned on, leading me to get this one. It just doesn’t seem to have the oomph of the previous one and I don’t feel it cleans my teeth as well. This one, while a pretty color, just isn’t as good.

Hi Tsibley898,
Thank you for letting us know about your concern, and we're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. Here are a few steps that can help:
Charge the Toothbrush: Ensure the toothbrush is fully charged. Place it on its charging base and let it charge for at least 24 hours.
Check the Brush Head: Examine the brush head for wear and tear. If the bristles are frayed or worn out, replace it with a new one. We Philips recommends changing the brush head every 3 months.
Clean the Brush Handle and Head: Remove the brush head and thoroughly clean both the handle and the head. Build-up of toothpaste and debris can sometimes affect the performance.
Check if your warranty: Sonicare Toothbrush have a 2 year warranty. If your Toothbrush is still under warranty, please consider reaching out to us.
If this doesn't help, please consider reaching out to us. We're available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare). you can also reach out to us via the contact page:https://www.usa.philips.com/c-w/support-home/support-contact-page#n62Contact=PERSONAL_CARE_GR%2BTOOTHBRUSHES_CA.
