beautiful knives, block a bit large

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knives are lovely and have a nice balanced feel. The block is surprisingly large but I will get used to that. The four slots in the front fit 4 of steak knives, which are sold separately. And there's an empty slot for the Santoku 7". It would be nice if all this was sold as one instead needing to make 3 separate purchases to complete the set and fill the block. It was a bit confusing but I thankfully got the order correct.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this set of knives. We purchased this set and got the set of steak knives to go with it. They are so sharp and feel so good in my hand. Very ergonomically made. My husband is a knife guru and a precision machinist. Needless to say he has high standards for knives. He is very impressed with these. There was one knife that did not have a perfect flush finish. But again he is used to +|- zero tolerance. So I don’t read too much into that opinion. It’s nothing a non machine at like myself would have noticed. We also bought some of the imported Zwilling for a gift so we had the chance to compare. And hands down these are worth the quality. The price was more than double what we wanted to spend but the lifetime warranty means we will have these forever. So pay once, cry once.
