[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this running for almost a month now. I can say this is a great unit. Much quieter than the older model (6 years) that we replaced. The cooling capability is great- but our 6 year old model was still keeping its temperature perfectly. The exterior design of this unit it great. It is low profile and very modern looking and easy to dust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG Window AC offers low noise level and excellent cooling. It has a sleek appearance so it doesn't look like a eye-sore in the window. It is easy to install, easy to operate, offers nice options. We are cooling a 600 sq foot area and cools the area quickly. I would definitely recommend this air conditioner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the delivery person called me to ask where to deliver the air conditioner, I was a little confused. I walked out to a very large air conditioning unit on a pallet. It was a bit overwhelming. I want to tell others so that you all are not overwhelmed the way I was. Additionally, the unit is VERY heavy - I'm not even sure how many pounds, I would guess over 50, though. But an awkward 50 pounds.
Beyond the delivery experience, the unit works well. I had to put it on a stand because I was concerned with it damaging the window. the stand was flush with the unit to take the weight off of the window. It works best in small/mid sized open area or a bedroom. I moved it from my dining room to my bedroom to see where it worked best. It worked best in my bedroom. In my dining room, it lowered the temperature of my home, but not by much. My bedroom was cold, though (with the door closed). And when it was too cool, I opened my door and I was still comfortable.
Overall, the delivery process left much to be desired. But I love the a/c unit and would recommend it. I just used it with the buttons on the display, but there are other smart features.
