Frustrated with my AC. It is a lemon!!

I bought two AC’s about 3-4 Months ago. One AC has been a problem. Code CH 05 shows and the AC only works intermittently. It has been a couple months that I have had to deal with this. A brand new AC that doesn’t work. Now I am waiting for the back up technician to receive a part and install it. If it still does not work properly LG should give me another AC with no charge!!

Missing bracket causes a racket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would love to give this 5 stars however there is a bracket missing from the bottom of the case which holds the side curtains so I have not been able to use it yet. I tried to order it and they sent me a new case with out the brackets on the top and bottom. Waiting for the pice a second time has been almost a month

I bought this about 3 weeks ago before some +90 degree weather. Cools off my parlor, dining room, and kitchen very quickly and quietly. Hot weather continues here in the northeast.

Pretty good, with some caveats

The LG is whisper quiet. In medium mode I thought the LG made a slight “whoppa whoppa” helicopter-y sound and a slight electronic whine. I didn’t like this, but I use the unit mostly on the low setting.
Also, as shown in the pic, the pan of the LG started rusting after only two weeks. Not sure if this is going to cause a problem.
