I ordered this window A/C unit and it arrived in less than a week. Just in time for the summer heat. I had read very good reviews about it and am not disappointed. We have a master bedroom on the top floor of an old house which stays hotter than the rest of the house in the summer months. Just set the temp with the remote and leave it. It has a timer, a sleep mode and is an energy saver with 4 cooling and fan speeds and a washable filter reminder. And, it is very quiet, great for a 400 sq. ft. bedroom. What's not to like?

First thing I noticed is how quiet the unit is. Bought this model/ brand for the efficiency, 15 SEER rating. Only time will tell through usage but unit kicks butt for throwing the cool! Haven't used any other setting outside of energy saver, still great kicking cool.

I just had a baby and its perfect for his room - so quiet and seamless to install. I also put one in my toddlers bedroom and the sleep feature is great. I haven’t set up the app but that is my next thing to do so I can control my toddlers room temp without going into the room.

We purchased three of these window units in anticipation of summer in NYC. The unit runs incredibly quiet. There is none of that typical shudder whenever the compressor kicks in. We use the ‘energy saver’ mode, and it’s perfect. It dehumidifies the room, cools it off and does so -so quietly that we leave it on all night in the bedroom.

Purchased this late June, 2023. Easy to install but purchased (at a separate store) a brace so it would not be too much weight on the window frame. Been using it quite consistently because it's been pretty warm (Long Island, NY) and it's very quiet. Not sure, yet about the electric usage because I haven't seen an electric bill yet but I'm sure it will be cheaper than the unit we had previously. The control panel is very user friendly.

First time writing a review for an air conditioner, this LG air conditioner is the most efficient at cooling and a consistent temperature. So quiet you forget its running. We purchased the 8000BTUs, wish we could find a 6000 BTUs for our bedrooms. Electricity bill even dropped a few dollars, as we replaced a 10yr. old AC unit with the more efficient LG.
