The speaker is good in a small room, but in larger rooms, or outdoors, it does not have enough bass.

Too Early to Tell

I have a couple of the Flip 4s and really like them. I bought the Charge 5 for my girlfriend for Christmas so nothing to report yet. Ask me in January!

Good overall sound for the size. Bass is solid as well. Only issue is that the power and charge lights stay on 100% of the time. I use this at night so it’s annoying to use for that purpose.

do not buy, battery life is only 7-10hours

bought this product on May 30th, i had to replace item once already because battery life wasn’t 20hours as advertised i only got about 10 hours. I opened my replacement product, charged it fully and only got about 7 hours play back time. really upset with this thought JBL was the best choice to go with, guess not. I read another review somewhere that the battery life was terrible, thought they just got a dud but no, this item is defective (hence the sale price)

Thank you for providing your feedback. Our JBL Charge 5 should have at least 20 hours of playtime (depending on the music content and volume level). If the speaker does not meet the advertised playtime hours at low to medium volume levels, the speaker's battery may be faulty. Our units have a one-year limited warranty; please reach out to Customer Support so that we can assist you.

Bought this speaker a month or so ago. Haven't had not one single problem. To the opposite. It has exceeded my expectations easily. Would absolutely recommend.

NO aux port and bad PC pairing

NO aux port and bad PC pairing. Windows and PC games constantly drop the charge 5 as a connected device. Wish they made a usb output or aux port on it. :(
