I am very impressed by the JBL Charge 5 capabilities. It has good spatial characteristics for a medium sized portable Bluetooth speaker. One of my favorite aspects of the JBL is that I can control the bass, mid-tones, and treble using the app downloaded from the Play Store. The equalizer is effective. I would suggest some type of carry case for it - maybe JBL has one?

Great personalization option

We are a team of music therapists and I always buy JBL speakers as they have great power for when working with groups. I absolutely loved the option to personalize it with our logo! And there wasn't even an additional charge for that! The team loved it as well.

Amazing speaker

Bought this for my wife, she absolutely loves it. The bass is great and will rattle the windows, yet the mids and highs are clear and crisp. The battery life is amazing and I love that you can charge your device with the speaker. Portability is the forte of this speaker, take it out to the patio or the beach and crank the tunes.

It's a Christmas gift so we haven't used it yet, but the ease of customizing it was great! The colors looked great and I know she's going to love it! It also came much faster than I anticipated!

Great sound

This was a Christmas gift for my son, the sound is great. He was excited to design it but what they sent us was not what he designed. It was suppose to have his name in the design and it didn’t. That detail was important to him. The color and the sound was great.

USB C port does not charge devices.

USB C port does not charge devices. Why add a usb c port and not have it 2 way charge?

We appreciate your time in providing us with your feedback. The USB-C port on the JBL Charge 5 is exclusively used for charging the speaker itself and does not allow you to charge other devices via that port. And, the USB-A port in the back is a service port, so you can charge your phone or other devices from it.
