Battery life is junk

I bought the JBL charge 5 2 days ago. I working a factory with loud fans I am machinery. I have got about 2 1/2 hours worth of playtime before it has completely died. Nowhere near the 20 hours JBL is claiming this party speaker has absolutely disappointing for the price point. While it was working, the audio sounded good, but if it can’t even make it through an eight hour shift, it’s just an expensive paperweight to me.

JBL CHARGE5 is like an upgrade from JBL CHARGE4
it has 40W speaker compare to 30W so its louder. I think all JBL speaker has a built in auto volume adjustment so that it will not ruin your speaker.

Battery doesn’t last as long as advertised

I bought this speaker to replace my Jawbone and this battery does NOT last 20 hrs… it’s not even close… 6 hrs at best…I love everything else about it the sound is great, love the size, just need the battery to last longer

It's important to mention that our Charge 5 offers additional functionalities compared to the Flip 6, such as a built-in charger and a longer playtime, with only a slight 10-watt disparity in output power. Consequently, this leads to a slightly higher retail price when compared to the Flip 6.

Customization was so spot on!

I knew the speaker was going to be amazing quality as others I have purchased in the past and it is. This time I did the customization and I have to say it came out exactly how I saw it designed online. I was super amazed and pleased with the final product.
I did have trouble the at first adding my customization to the cart, but after waiting a few days I tried again and was then able to add it. The speaker arrived in about 2 weeks, only every time I looked at the status of my speaker online it was never updated and I never received shipping information.

If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit.
