Bought this for running around in golf cart, beach, pool. Charged 4 hrs as always and only get a max 4 hrs of play. Like the sound and clarity, but for the price expected much more. Also not happy no locking device for golf cart.

Purchase 5/28/22 The Charge 5 JBL exceptionally good this is for music lovers. play good recorded music. (going to order three more) my neighbor have the Xtreme and he said the charge 5 sound better.

Bold sound with good build quality

This is a superb speaker with a big, long lasting battery*. It is very much worth the money, especially with sound and build quality. This speaker has no sound spikes in specific frequencies, and has well balanced factory E.Q., but if the firmware is updated, the custom one can be adjusted for mostly top, balanced, or most bass, which mine is set to and still provides good vocals with the kids and highs turned down all the way, the dedicated tweeter really helps with this clarity of sound from this unit.
*The battery drains in about 1hr at max volume and charging a device at 1.2 amps with the E.Q. Having the bass at max, mids normal, highs lowest.

Not up to 20hrs

Just bought it charge it overnight. Still playtime only last for 6hrs max.

This speaker is equipped with a Li-ion polymer 27 Wh (equivalent to 3.6 V/7500 mAh) Battery. If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid volume level, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit.
