The sound signature is great!

The Charge 5 has Nice deep bass and crystal clear high end! Not to mention the battery life! It takes me 3 1/5 days to drain the battery on this thing! I am impressed!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible Charge and Connect to interact for party

I’m pretty upset that it doesn’t connect with the new JBL connect 6 that I literally bought a few days after I bought the Charge 5.

We appreciate your feedback. Our JBL Charge 6 can only connect with JBL portable speakers that have the Auracast feature. You may get an Xtreme 3, Flip 5, or Flip 6 to connect with your Charge 6.

I was looking for a great Bluetooth speaker. I read reviews and thought this would be a good buy but was wrong. I could have spent half or less than have the money I spent on this and got the same quality. It is decent and I didn't have anything before so I decided to keep it not worth the hassle to send back

Faulty Speaker

A few days after purchase the speakers sound quality became poor and it started making random static noises for 10-15 seconds. I charged the speaker and it still continues.

Thanks for your feedback. You could try to pair and connect it with a different phone/source device to see if it will still have the static noises. Also, please make sure that there are no wireless devices like routers nearby as they create interferences.

Never came with a wall charger. I have now way to charge my JBL speaker. This would be nice to have.

This is the worst speaker jbl has made i buy all jbl speaker but this one is crap wouldn't recommend it to anyone it doesnt play clear it skips and its a waste of money

We're sorry to hear about what happened. Please check our guide regarding Bluetooth troubleshooting if this can help fix the problem. You may also reset the speaker:

Volume+ & Play/Pause Long press for 2 seconds while the speaker is on.

Please note: If the Charge 5 was once connected to any devices, please remove it from your BT devices. Because it has been restored to its factory settings, as it will automatically enter into pairing mode the first time you power it on.

I bought this speaker 2 weeks ago and the sound is great the vocals are amazing the voice sounds so crystal clear and its extremely loud. Only things i dislike is bass sounds great when speaker playing medium to low in volume because when volume all the way up not so much bass at all and im a huge bass head. Last thing i dislike is i bought navy blue speaker but its more turquoise than anything that i feel its more of a girly color than a color a man would own
I would recommend this to a friend!
