Frigidaire freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Watchful waiting. So far no problems. Have heard horror stories. This freezer unit replaces a ten year old Electrolux that died. This Frigidaire was pretty much our only option give size and price constraints. I took the 8yr extended warranty. Hope I don't need it! But I will keep this review updated if I do.

Great Machine, but Initial Quality Issues Persist

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine is beautiful, storage is ample for it's size and EvenTemp is not just a gimmick. As far as keeping food thoroughly frozen, it's incredible.
That said, from delivery day the internal light doesn't work because the magnet in the door is misaligned and the ice maker doesn't work. We're working with Frigidaire to get it corrected, but it's incredibly frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cannot say enough about the redesign of this freezer! Having the ice bins in the middle make it so easy for the entire family to reach! Plus the two ice ‘buckets’ make it perfect for entertaining, filling coolers, etc! Perfect for a busy family and a family that entertains!

Looks Great, Sounds Like a Locomotive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this new appliance two weeks ago and were delighted to get it after a long wait. It looks elegant and keeps things cold like it should so it's doing its job. The interior layout is good and serviceable. Having had a previous generation of this product we note enhancements in the electronics, a nice big ice maker tray and plenty of good space along with a more elegant interior. No complaints on any of this. The one issue we have is that the appliance is extremely loud in some part of its cycle. There is obviously something out of balance in the compressor or it is improperly damped. It shakes the cabinets four feet away! To be fair, we haven't asked Frigidaire to address this yet because we are still trying to work out delivery issues with the local dealer before putting in a service request. We made a regrettable choice with the dealer. On a separate note, we purchased the freezer and companion fridge over seven months before they were delivered. We also purchased a trim kit which is still not here. I'm not sure why this is delayed but suspect it has more to do with the dealer than the manufacturer. I'm assuming Frigidaire will address the noise issue but give it four stars for letting this get through QC.
