A SubZero Freezer Substitute for a fraction of the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Sub Zero Freezer and Fridge for over 25 years, and they were amazing. I wanted to replace them for new ones, but the price was incredibly high and there was a wait time as well. After much research, I found a pair of Frigidaire High End Couple (Fridge and Freezer), and so far, they are as good as the SubZeros, but they cost me a fraction of the price.

Ice Maker Blues and Leaky Filter

After about a year of ownership, ice maker started acting up a few months ago and now it finally stopped making ice. Replaced water filter, reset ice maker and made sure the lights to ice maker were on as you can turn the ice maker off and on. Pretty bummed we are at this point. We had to wait almost a year to get this unit in due to COVID and heard that appliances made right after or during COVID shutdowns were experiencing issues. These units have been a dream of mine for almost 10years. So again, I’m bummed this is all happening so soon. Now after changing this last water filter, there is now a leak coming from there. At this point I am super disappointed. We like the Frigidaire units and have had good luck with them in the past, but can't say much for this freezer' s ice maker and now the fridge’s water filter. Would love advice for fixes.

Fails often

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Could a product outreach specialist please contact me at the information on my account ASAP? 7 repairs between both appliances in under 10 years is nothing short of disastrous, and indicates a design flaw. When you know the repairman by name, and he even apologies for how bad these appliances are, you know something is definitely wrong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second freezer we’ve had. The first one the ice maker just randomly stopped making ice. No one would work on the freezer and they just gave us a replacement. Now this replacement has water leaking from the ice maker causing the water to freeze under, in and behind the ice bins. Other than that, the freezer is very spacious.

Loving our new Frigidaire!!!

Large Freezer with seamless clean look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a larger freezer for the garage. This one will not disappoint. I love the extra space in the doors and the large shelving. The unit has TWO ice drawers for double the quantity. This comes in handy when hosting parties. The unit pair with the refrigerator is LARGE. I also like how their logo is not on the front of the door like all the other makers do. In my photo the trim kit is not installed and the protective film is still on. My contractor install the custom cabinets around it next week. The trim kit attaches to cabinets. I will update photo after everything is put together.

Poor Quality - Unreliable

If "0" stars were a rating it would be deserving. First unit was defective upon delivery and eventually replaced. Three months later the replacement unit stopped working while on vacation, thus losing a freezer of food. The earliest one of Frigidaire's approved technicians can get here is 10 days. Two broken units within 6 months. Not a good example of quality. To add on to the issues, the matching refrigerator was repaired five times before Frigidaire replaced that unit too. Would not recommend!
