[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is taking the place of a SubZero Freezer. It's 3" smaller in width & about 5" in height. This freezer is great, it's not a SubZero, but neither is the price tag. If Frigidare was smart, they would resize their units as close to SubZero as possible. They would take a chuck of their market share....

The most amazing fridge and freezer ever!

VERY DECEIVING - DO NOT BUY

If you have the older version and enjoy the space and layout, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS AS A REPLACEMENT.
Overall unit is 1" larger, no big deal. Whoever redesigned the interior of this fridge and freezer should be fired.
The interior is 2" less deep and wide. This version has less deep shelves as well, again by 2".
There is now a roller shelf on top of the bottom drawer in the fridge that eats up another 4" of space overall. You are losing 6" of space on that shelf alone and it has radius corners which eats up even MORE space.

The online pictures of the interior are deceiving. The interior is stainless steel on the back (have fun keeping that clean). The door shelves are all long single pieces with the inserts for dividing them up. No more half sized that were easy to move around and clean, same applies to freezer.
The photos make it look as if the door storage is half sized. Some of the bins are also about 6"-8" tall and about 3" deep (think A-1 bottle type deep), they are ridiculous. Instead of being able to get two rows of condiments, you are getting 1. These 2 bins will not hold a jar of Mayo or 1/2 Gallon of milk that is how narrow they are.
The water dispenser is low profile in the fridge but the ice maker in the freezer takes up a massive amount of space in comparison to the older model.
I estimate that the redesign of the interior of both units has resulted in roughly a 30% decrease in useable space. We are already at capacity in the set we have. I absolutely HATE this new set and have them listed for sale online. I won't even install them.

I have attached pics of my current model and the new set that just arrived for comparison. Fridge is looking rough as I lost everything in it due to it needing to be recharged but you can see the useable space is far greater. If you have a set similar to my current set and are happy you will not be with this new set.
I believe this fridge has the same useable space as any other fridge out there.
