Perfect handy sharpener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried this sharpener with my old Zwilling knife, and just after few swipes, it’s almost back to how it cutted when I first bought the knife! Totally recommend this item!

I’ve yet to require sharpening for my newer Miyabi knives, but I did use the two stage sharpener on an older Chef’s knife, and it made a noticeable improvement in its sharpness. I suspect my old Chefs knife is of the Western angle, rather than the European more narrow angle, but, from now on, it’s probably going to be European.
If this two stage knife sharpener maintains the same sharp angle of my new Miyabi kitchen knives, I’ll be very happy. So far all the knives pass the paper test, as I hone them after each use and have even stripped some of them with a heavy leather belt, leaving them razor sharp.
