[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought a speedy sharp because of the infomercial. "Peel the steel!" While that sounds good it doesn't make up for the lack of steadiness I have resulting in an uneven edge. This sharpener is simple and easy for anyone to use. Nice solid base. I hope it lasts!
