If you love and have Miyabi Birchwood knives, then you also need to own this honing steel from the Birchwood collection. It will re-align your edge, once the knives have been used. This can be a daily event, IF you use the knives daily.

This 9 inch sharpening steel is excellent for maintaining the edge of your knife. It is so important to hone your knives because it can really bring the knife back to life.

This is the ultimate in edge maintenance. The tungsten rod puts the best edge on even the hardest of steels. The Birchwood handle is smoothe and being natural material each one is unique.

Not for Beginner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this would just work, but it left scratches on my Birchwood knives. It requires skills to use this tool.. Now I can use this well, but this is definitely not for beginners.
