I received this with a set that was gifted to me, and unfortunately it was the only piece that was damaged. Looks like a production issue… We love the knife set so much we didn’t bother returning for a new one, but disappointed since you’re paying for top quality but getting less than.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The craftsmanship used in this product is clearly evident. The birchwood is beautiful. It has a heaviness to it which helps with the stability. I would absolutely reccomend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not for Beginner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this would just work, but it left scratches on my Birchwood knives. It requires skills to use this tool.. Now I can use this well, but this is definitely not for beginners.

This is the ultimate in edge maintenance. The tungsten rod puts the best edge on even the hardest of steels. The Birchwood handle is smoothe and being natural material each one is unique.
