We love our new knife sharpener - it maintains the blade nicely and even has a slot for scissors. Looks great in our kitchen and easy to use. Highly recommend!

No directions in box

Works well, sharpened my scissors in a couple minutes. Unfortunately, there were no directions in the box and had to figure it out.

3 stars for prices versus overall quality

I feel like 3 stars is a fair rating, due to price versus quality. I have not had a chance to use this product much, but I felt like it sharpened one of my older, more dull J.A. Henckels knives that wasn't sharpening well with other sharpeners. It took a lot more effort and time to sharpen the knife than should have been necessary. This also came in an open both with only cleaning instructions on the box. I liked the idea of a scissor sharpener and have not had the chance to use it yet. I like that the bottom has some sort of silicon to grip counters during use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
