Love This Sharpener!

I love this sharpener. It is the best one I have ever purchased and used. The grip combined with the anti-slip bottom make it stable when using for short or long knifes. It produced an excellent edge on my 40+ years old Zwilling J.A.Henckels No Stain Friodur knives. Likewise it produces a great edge on my Asian carbon steel knives purchased 50+ years ago in China. All it took was 2-3 pulls on coarse side followed by 2-3 pulls on the fine side to produce the desired edge on Standard and Asian knives. It out performs the highly rated electric sharpeners I have owned.

I bought this 19-piece Zwilling set for my wife for Christmas, and she is thrilled with it. The knives are razor sharp and ergonomically comfortable. I also purchased the Zwilling pull through knife sharpener. It is well designed not just for function but for safety. The inside of the handle as well as the base have a tacky coating that gives the user a firm slip free grip. The base acts like it is glued to the counter. It is totally non-slip which is wonderful. Kudos to the design engineers.
