I sharpened my Cutco butcher knife; at purchase, was told to run the blade through (in one direction) 7 times. It worked pretty good. Tried my scissors, had to do 2 rounds. Over all very satisfied!

The product is good on its own. Generally I like having a quick sharpening option. Especially if I don’t want to sharpen using the wet stone.
Note wet stone is superior but is an investment in time and effort. This is a great lessor alternative for quick solution
