I like this sharpener- as it's compact; but has options for Standard knives, Asian Knives and scissors!!! Easy to use.

It comes with no instructions. It comes with no link to any instructions. My experience with this product is identical to my experience with every similar such product. The knife is completely dull after "sharpening" and this is true regardless of how many passes I make through the sharpener.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To help you get the best performance from your Zwilling Four-Stage Sharpener, here is the proper technique:
Match the angle: Use the two Asian slots for Japanese blades, or the two Western slots for German/American knives. A fifth slot is built just for scissors.
Coarse stage: For very dull blades, pull the knife through the coarse slot from heel to tip using moderate pressure. Repeat this up to 20 times.
Fine stage: Wipe the blade clean, then pull it through the fine ceramic slot 5 to 10 times to finish and polish the edge.
