The anti slip rubber bottom is very convenient. I have used this product just yet as I am not sure to use the Asian or Standard sharpening rods. But I am hoping for the best.

Worth it….great sharpener

This sharpener WORKS GREAT. I have German and Japanese knives and it does great on both. I am a home cook but value quality knives and keeping them sharp and well taken care of. I steel while I’m cooking but always sharpen every 3rd or 4th cooking session.
