A3 water cooler

The water cooler has been up and running one week have already gone thru 5 gallons of water. There was initially an odd taste, which disappeared in a day. I find it a little odd that I am just now seeing on Page 20 of the manual that it is recommended to rinse and drain the unit prior to installation?? This would have required removing the screws and back of the machine ... this was not mentioned in the setup instructions (and further who would want to do that upon having just received the unit??). Also I see that cleaning is also recommended every 6 months and therefore I do not understand what the purpose the "ozone self-cleaning function" serves. I will call Customer Service to answer my questions when time permits, but in the meantime overall I am very satisfied with the appearance and performance of the unit.

It works...it loads at floor level...it looks good...it self cleans...the night light is a nice touch...packaged easy to open...instructions well written...top buttons should have LEDs
