This has lots of pockets for storage and the outside extra expandable pouch is helpful to store a thin book inside. The material is not as heavy as another brand that I purchased for my son last year, thus making it lighter to carry. Big plus. I do wish it had a durable shoulder strap, because the only handle is at the top. He'd like to fling it over his shoulder to avoid "carrying" it. He's used it for 2 weeks now, we'll see how it holds up to a 13 yr. old.

This binder is pretty rad but I made the mistake of putting too much stuff in it. The area between the zipper and the binder ripped wide open. Internally it held up quite well expect for a small rip in the calculator pouch. I wish I got to use it longer.
Pros: Holds a lot of stuff
