I am buying this product again!!

My daughter struggles with organization and is very tough on her school supplies. When I saw the guarantee last year I said "yeah right". I was so amazed with this binder I went on a hunt for a new one to several Walmarts looking for another one this year only to find out they aren't carrying this one. So I went to the website and ordered one. The only concern I have about the new binder model option this year is the shoulder strap is now been removed and that was a big help for my daughter moving within the crowded hallways of her school since they weren't able to use their back packs. I would love to see the strap brought back in this model as an option and willing to pay a little extra. Thanks again for standing behind your product!!

Zipper Broken by December

I generally choose Mead products over any other brand and was excited to purchase this binder for both of my middle schoolers...the colors are great, the binder, pockets, nooks and crannies are also great, but the zipper absolutely failed to meet expectations. The zipper on my son's binder didn't t make it through half of the school year and broke in December. Hopefully next year's design will incorporate a zipper that can keep up with the rest of the package.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My son's middle school has all the teachers using the "binder method" so all the kids have them. I've bought a new one each year, but each year it breaks mid year. We've had one of the rings snap off, the rings freeze open, the pockets tear, etc. After 6th grade, someone said "For as much as these are, isn't there a warranty?" I called and they replaced it free of charge! I was thrilled, because each time it broke, I'd be out spending $25 on a new one. I was advised it's guaranteed to last a whole school year, and if I buy it online, they'd have a record and could easily replace it! This time, the zipper has broken.
I would recommend this to a friend!

By the end of the first 9 weeks of school this trapper was torn and worn. Wouldn't recommend for a 6th grade boy.

My son picked out this binder for the file organization and the nice expandable section on the outside. It seems like a very sturdy binder and he's mostly happy with it. However, I thought that a shoulder strap was pretty standard for this type of large school binder and there is nothing but a small handle on the edge.

Have been using for 3 weeks and is now staying to break, first 3ring breaking, next zippers are breaking off
