Loose Leaf Review

It's much too soon to know how this loose leaf will wear over time. However in the approximately two weeks that I have had it and used it daily it appears very durable and definitely serves the function for which it was purchased. The two pockets inside the front and rear covers are handy to hold thin documents and the binder rings open and close very easily and appear to be well made. The clear plastic sleeves over the two covers enabled me to easily customize the loose leaf by inserting a computer created page identifying what the binder contains.

Just the right size...

These 1/2" ring binders were just the right size for presenting multiple documents organized by semester during our recent accreditation site visit. Our Resource Room was well organized the site visitors were able to find what they needed easily and the narrow binders did not take too much space. Here's a hint if you struggle with inserting spine labels for these narrow binders: print the spine labels on 90# index paper and open the binder to relax the spine edge your labels will slide in easily.

Just As Good As Avery

I have always purchased the Avery binders for proposal responses at Staples. It has been a while since I have done a proposal so I was a little surprised when I got to Staples and didn't see the Avery binders I used to buy. I purchased the Staples brand. The D rings worked well. Nice sturdy binder comparable to the Avery brand. I also used printed card stock paper inserts in the front and back. It was easy to insert these. The bound responses all looked very professional. Recommend for 50 pages on 24 Ib paper. Probably need larger size if over 50 pages and using tab dividers.
