I’ve been using the Midea 50/50 Flex fridge freezer, and honestly, it’s exceeded my expectations in every way!
Temperature Control:
The Flex feature is a lifesaver! You can switch compartments between fridge and freezer depending on what you need—perfect for holidays or grocery hauls. Everything stays super fresh, and the cooling is consistent and reliable.
Storage Capacity:
Don’t be fooled by its clean, compact design—this thing holds a lot. There’s plenty of space for both fresh and frozen items, and I love the adjustable shelves and deep door bins. It’s super easy to stay organized!
Noise Level:
It’s so quiet! I barely notice it’s on. That’s a huge win if you have an open kitchen or live in a smaller space.
Energy Efficiency:
This unit is definitely energy smart. I’ve already noticed a slight drop in my electricity bill, and it’s nice knowing it’s better for the environment, too.

I bought this several months ago and I have a complaint. When I close the top door the bottom one opens slightly but you don’t realize it until the food is thawed out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor design

Great idea, except the seals don't stay closed and the top keeps malfunctioning. The app says there is no issue, but the top is not cooling. Repair guy has already fixed it once (after only 5 months of owning) and said it would likely happen again because of the poor design. Here we are again, a month later, needing another repair. And it can't be returned so we are stuck with a lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No power cord

I had my Midea delivered today and it did not have a power cord so I had to order one with overnight shipping because I ordered this not only for my daycare but I'm using it as an emergency food shelf because of the government shutdown to help my community until SNAP Benefits come back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fridge has not worked since day one. Keep arguing about keeping it in a temperature controlled area when it’s advertised as garage ready. We even have it in a temperature controlled second garage and they still will not fix it. 3 months of owing this junk and have never been able to use it. Gets up to 55 on defrost mode. Did the quarter in a frozen glass of water thing, quarter is now down halfway into the cup showing it’s literally de thawing on the daily. I don’t know why Midea keeps fighting on fixing or taking this thing back. Ridiculous. Will never own another Midea product. Wish we had just bought a small second regular fridge at a discount place over this.

you can run it as full fridge or full freeze or split 50/50. It has no noise easy to set up and easy to inbox.
