Great toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toaster is actually very nice to keep on your counter. We used to put the last one away. It gives you a perfect toast. Bagels came out just right. The only thing we have yet to try is something frozen. Definitely a great quality piece.

Quality toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently returned a brand new toaster from another well-known manufacturer because it failed right out of the box - it never toasted a single slice.
I decided to spend more on a Zwilling because I have some of their other products and those are well-built.
To begin with, this is a great-looking machine. I was torn between the all black and this stainless model with the white top and the latter fits in great with my kitchen decor.
I immediately put it to the test. I set the dial on 5 of 7. The first slices toasted a little too dark for my tastes. I backed off to 3 and it was s little light, so 4 will be my default setting for thin wheat toast.
The slots are wide enough to accommodate thicker artesian breads; the downside is that thin, low-calorie slices will fold over slightly and lean closer to the heating elements and toast unevenly.
It has some interesting functions: toast bread, toast a bagel, reheat and defrost frozen items.
The cool touch aspect is more common nowadays. It is nice not to worry about melted bread bags sticking to the side of your toaster.
Overall, I am pleased with my selection and hope to enjoy it for many years.
