Sleek design, working toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toaster is a lot bigger than expected but I love the simple design. Make sure you read instructions to “clean” the toaster before using it. It can have a very chemically odor upon first usage so make sure you have enough airflow in the house before using it the first time.
It’s easy to use, looks sturdy and toast comes out like how toast should be. No complaints there!
I would recommend this to a friend!

5 year warranty!

I was first drawn to this toaster because of it's clean modern lines which fit into my kitchen.
However I soon discovered many other features that set this toaster apart form it's competition. The ability to get a bit more height off the lift handle comes in handy when that piece of banana bread sinks into the toaster. The bagel cycle is a nice feature, toasts one side and heats the other for a perfect and tasty bagel.
Also the 5 year warranty is the longest one on the market which shows how much confidence Zwilling has in this product.
However I soon discovered many other features that set this toaster apart form it's competition. Not the best

Purchased this based on great reviews.
Pros: Nice clean lines and looks god on counter
Easy to empty crumb tray
Cons: Inconsistent toasting using the same setting number
Can get very hot on multiple uses near the top of toaster on middle settings.
However it is cool when only a few toasting cycles are used at the same time.
Pictures in instruction booklet in black and white do show the shading of the toast
accurately
Not sure if this unit id defective or not but will give it a few mor months as it is not used a a regular basis

This toaster provides the attention to detail that I was looking for in a toaster. I love that I can use the defrost setting to thaw, while not toasting. The sleek and modern design is perfect for my kitchen aesthetic. The removable crumb tray slides in and out with ease.
The machine is not hot to the touch after toasting several items. The lift is high enough to accommodate the smaller slices of bread. No need for tongs to retrieve the toast!

this is a great toaster to look at and to use. I love the very European look of this toaster but even better is the way that it toasts. The bread sit perfectly in the center of the slot because of the two guides that come together gently. Threy don't squeeze the bread so much as prop it so it sits in the middle, this allows for both sides of the toast to be equal distance from the heating elements. Also, instead of a continuous element, it is a few separate ones so that the toasting is consistent from top to bottom. All in all an extremely well design toaster

Great toaster

I've been looking to get a new toaster instead of using my stovetop to brown my bread and bagels. The toaster has been working great and it doesn't take up too much counter space either. I love the different settings like bagels and defrost, it’s been great for my frozen waffles or bagels. Much faster and even browning with the toaster than using the stove top. Very sleek and modern look, it’s also not very heavy, so easy to move from a cabinet to countertop. Just a great toaster!
