does what i needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my expensive knives were dull and a pain for chopping vegetables, herbs, etc. got this sharpener as a gift. was easy to use. the first time took longer because of how dull the knives were but i think it will be quick and easy to use periodically so they stay sharp

Honing steels have to be the most undervalued tool in the kitchen, it's so important that we use honing steels often to keep you're blade well maintained. This steel is great and comes in almost every set ZWILLING sells.

Never thought I'd be able to master using sharpening Steel, but this 9" is so easy to use. I just followed the directions and my knife was perfectly sharp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using stones. I think it needs a better too to keep it from sliding while sharpening knives. Other than that it sharpened my cooking knives well.

Keeping my edge

Knife maintenance is so important and honing is the first step. There are directions in the package, but I've also used some online videos as well and am feeling very comfortable. I can't believe what a different it makes on my blades.
