[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this set as a birthday gift and it couldn't be anymore perfect. It's not so light that it feels cheap but it's not overly heavy and big either. Very sturdy and comfortable to use

Treat the flatware right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the Alcea 18/10 flatware set to replace our Oneida set because that set would rust when put in the dishwasher. We were tired of hand washing all of our flatware. We purchased this set based on the quality and the elegant design. The flatware pieces are nicely balanced and feel good in hand. We followed the manufacturer's recommendations of using a citrus and chloride free dishwasher detergent. Finish dishwasher tabs are citrus and chloride free, so that's what we use. We also remove all food debris by rinsing the flatware after using. Also, we never soak the flatware, which is not necessary anyway if you rinse it immediately after use. So far no issues with rust. Hopefully this set will continue to perform for years to come.

Great Brand, Great Product

It was time to replace it as pieces from the first set begin to disappear (teenagers). Couldn’t be more happy with this set and expect it to last just as long as the first set. We love their knives too and have those.
