I like that it's a little larger and have made a couple of Stews this past winter. Really like the knobs as an embellishment. Very strong & cleans up beautifully.

The innovative black matte interior and dimples under the lid provide excellent heating, moisture control without staining. Everything you would expect form Staub! Love the rooster finial!
Some longer cut of meat or whole chicken fit better in this oval shape. But still great for soups and chilis since the cast iron heats up evenly even on a round burner. Beautiful colors and the rooster knob is an added bonus.
