I ordered a new igniter kit and new burners for my Genesis E330. Parts arrived in larger packaging than was expected which surprised me but all was there. Installation instructions were graphical and quite intuitive/ user-friendly. Grille is good as new.
We live in Central Jersey and use the grille all year round. Great job Weber.

Consider replacing old burners when you replace the igniter kit while you have the grill disassembled. My new igniter produces spark just fine, but burners do not ignite quickly because some burner holes are blocked.

Worked with customer service. they told me the new one they sent and I installed was faulty. Still waiting for my replacement its been weeks So I've been using my lighter to grill. I grill nightly so this is a big pain. I was a big fan of Weber till this happened

Igniter kit fails to light burner on model E330

The igniter replacement kit does not light the burner rods. The spark is generated when the push button is depressed, but the design is poor. Customer Support - Mary/Joni suggested 1: make sure no spider webs (confirmed none) 2. igniter electrode is seated firmly in slide track (confirmed no debris and firm click when bump engages with bottom hole) 3. electrode tip is over the burner hole (sent pictures showing this is not so) 4. electrode tip is not significantly bent (sent pictures that do not show this condition). Still awaiting resolution after going over this issue for nearly 3 weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our Weber is about 9 years old and about five years ago it stopped igniting all that well. For a while keeping an almost new battery kept it going. But for the last three years we have had to use a an extended Bic style lighter to light it off. I decided to call Weber and ask about a fix. After giving them the model number they set me up with the proper igniter kit and I ordered it. 39 plus shipping wasn't a bad price. Replacement is not hard per se but you do have to do more disassembly that should be required to replace a part that seems to have a finite life span. It is now installed and the grill lights immediately.
My only real complaint is that this item seems to have a short life, from what I have read they only last five years. I would think that it should be upgraded so that it lasts longer or that replacement is an easy task; something accomplished in five minutes instead of several hours.
But I am glad the grill is working again. At 9 years old it is in great shape and looks new. This is the first part we have had to replace.

Began having issues igniting my Genesis 300 after 6 years. These were very easy to install and have worked well. Having some alternating issues getting the far left or right to ignite. Takes 15-20 seconds holding the igniter button. Hopefully it works itself out quickly. Middle and seat work great!
