I had to replace both grates in my 15 year old grill. I thought the parts might cost more than a new grill, but they were reasonably priced and are high quality. My grill is as good as new.

I have had my Weber grill for a number of years. When I first purchased it, Hinged Cooking Grates were not available. When I recently went online to replace the grate, I was pleased and surprised to see that they have a hinged grate for it!!! I already have a hinged grate on my other Weber so I know about the convenience and versatility of it. You can stir the charcoals easily and you can also add more charcoals if needed without removing the grate from the grill. Thank You Weber!

I don't how I lived with this grate.I smoke a lot on my grill and it's great for adding additional smoke in wood and charcoal.

No more lifting of the entire grill to add charcoal or wood for that 4 hr smoke session. Just build the fire to one side and you can access through flip ends to add more.
