Not the best built for all types of bbqing. It seems this is best for hot dogs, burgers and small kids stuff. I ordered a grill for my performer series.This failed miserably. I looked for the grill that came with my Weber but did not see it.this was a waste of money. Failing on the first foray is tantamount amount to switching brands. I have been brand loyal to Weber for decades. That may change on this performance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For what this grate is, it is top notch. I can grill or smoke on it without any issues. I own a Webber GBS grate as well, but I will probably maintain one of these grates in my inventory as long as I’m grilling.
