My fault, I ordered the wrong size, however, I cannot get any reply from Weber returns, sent 2 emails and have sat on hold for hours with no contact yet.

I've had the same Red weber genesis 1000 since 1993, my Brother bought it when they first came out. I was 13, now 40 uhg. This is the 3rd time ive changed out the guts.

Works fine. However the thumb set screws holding the manifold broke when trying to remove them. This is a 1987 model and the burner tubes were replaced about 20 years ago. Had to drill new holes and fortunately there is enough play that the new tubes fit fine and function well. Many thanks. I'll try to send you photos in another email. MR
