I went to buy this burner and was happy to find out after 8 years it was still covered by Webers warranty. So now I have a new burner that will last until I'm ready to upgrade our grill.
I bough the burner tube assembly as my old one had worn out. Installed it and it works well as long as you don’t move it. Problem that I discovered is trying to prevent it from moving. From what I can tell there was a holding screw to set it in place. The old screw has worn to the point I am unable to remove. Probably can drill to hold assembly tight but before I do that I will use a ss wratchet clamp to see if that will hold it tight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi! We are glad to hear your new burners are working well! The burners should certainly not move around like you have described. We have reached out to you via email to help with the installation and to get your grill working like it should. Thanks!
Awwwww, like a new grill, quick ignition and heat up! Great taste from flavor Bars! All from a vintage 2002 Weber grill. May get another decade out of it! Love my Weber.
