I bought this laptop because it was one of the first with the Lunar Lake processor. It was my first Samsung laptop and probably my last. While I was aware of the screen cracking issues, I chalked that up to possible early production batches and not something inherent in the design.
However, the screen durability issues with this laptop are very real. Do not let the spec sheet fool you: while Samsung uses Corning Gorilla Glass, it ultimately doesn't matter. The laptop’s ultra-thin design—especially on the 16" lid—comes at a steep price. The lid lacks the structural rigidity to support the glass. Physics wins here; the frame flexes, and the screen is prone to cracking despite the premium materials.
If you still insist on buying this machine, you must factor in the cost of Samsung Care+. Samsung will refuse to repair these stress cracks under standard warranty, and the out-of-pocket repair cost is almost as much as a new laptop. I cannot stress this enough: without Care+, you are on your own.
Another major shortcoming is the Samsung app ecosystem hype. If you want to take full or even partial advantage, you need to have the apps run in the background, which takes a major hit on battery life. Even then, the apps feel half-baked. For example, if you want to use the AI abilities in Samsung Gallery, you are actually running a mirrored instance of your phone's app, not a native Windows process. You cannot even sync your photos or albums properly between your phone and laptop.
Other disappointments for a "Pro" laptop include a finicky fingerprint reader, the absence of a Num Lock indicator, and marginal palm rejection on the oversized touchpad which leads to constant accidental clicks.
Verdict: As a lifelong Samsung phone user (Samsung Galaxy S), I wanted to love this. Yes, the screen is beautiful and lives up to the hype. However, I am disappointed in their flagship laptop. My advice? Skip this model. Look for a brand that primarily focuses on computers, where the competitive focus is on durability and loyalty rather than just making the thinnest laptop possible.

Hey there SystemIntegrity, Thank you for sharing your sentiments with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360. We appreciate your candor as we continue to make improvements on the functionality and durability of our product line. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ that is similar to extended warranty and an insurance package combined that provides protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It would cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ offers you that peace of mind when added to your eligible devices (Phones, Tablets, Watches, Buds, Rings & PCs). Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. If the battery just doesn't feel like it lasts that long anymore, don't lose hope. A function called Smart Battery Calibration can help reset your battery's performance and recalibrate its minimum and maximum charge so you can keep using it to its current maximum capacity. Please feel free to review the resources shared below to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your PC. If you would like to share additional feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance after checking out the resources shared below, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 for a while now, and it has quickly become my favorite device. The AMOLED touchscreen is extremely sharp and vibrant, and switching between laptop and tablet mode feels smooth and natural. Performance is fast with no lag, even when multitasking or running heavier programs.
What really stands out is how well it connects with my Galaxy phone—features like Quick Share and Multi Control make the whole setup feel seamless. The S-Pen is precise and great for notes and editing. Battery life has also been impressive, easily lasting through a full day of work.
Overall, this is a powerful, lightweight, and premium 2-in-1 that delivers everything I need. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile laptop.
