First and best recip saw I ever had!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight, powerful, precise and easy to handle. These and more are the unexpected benefits of the Atomic 20V Max Recip Saw. Coupled with use of the existing batteries from my 20V Max driver make a mighty combination.

Many Uses

Although not the intended use, I saw this tool and thought this might be the perfect tool for taking out volunteer saplings on my acreage. I was not wrong. Love this thing. I have been using a battery chainsaw which works fine for larger than 2" trees, however this thing is great for tiny up to 3" or larger. It is one handed freeing the other for holding the sapling to keep it from vibrating with the saw. I can see myself wearing this thing out and when I do, I will buy another. Great tool. Use your imagination.

Works good even under heavy load except......

The blade release gets stuck, I know it will break over time. I have to use a screwdriver to get it to release. There should be a small guard up front, I put my hand right under the blade once, where the shaft comes out of the case, there should be something small there to stop that. Otherwise it works better then I expected. I cut up a 40 ft fifth wheel frame with it and a old truck frame. Gets warm.

This is my favorite tool I use this tool on every job it is tough and powerful and very easy to use . A plumbers best friend . It’s about time dewalt got something that compares to the Milwaukee hacksaw

Great tool to have in your Tool Box

I purchased this a few months back and have recently been using it on a regular basis and how I went without it prior I'm not certain. This saw is great, it being compact allows you to take care of things typically a saw like this wouldn't come close to fitting into the area. The handle has a nice grip, the light on the front is amazing as it lights up what you are working on in low light conditions and overall this little saw takes care of business as I haven't run into something I wasn't able to take care of yet. Changing the blades is simple and easy and the front guard adjust as well, if you are on the fence about purchasing this item do yourself a favor and just pull the trigger you will not regret it that is for sure.

I originally purchased the DCS369B when I had a project where I needed to remove a large number of saplings that were growing up, around and through a chain link fence. It worked great allowing me one hand for grabbing a sapling while I used the other hand to hold the saw and quickly cut it off. I was able to complete the project in a fraction of the time that it would have taken me using manual loppers. The DCS369B is so versatile I find myself regularly using it on a variety of remodeling jobs, some where I wouldn't have been able to use my larger reciprocating saw. Although compact, this saw has plenty of power that is easily controllable with the variable-speed trigger. I definitely recommend that DeWalt DCS369B!

waited to long for this from DeWalt but its here and works great. I got it last week its light weight, fits in your hand well easy to use. the one thing was the motor doesn't sound that great or powerful but its performance is fantastic.
