Ergonomic and performs

I have three other reciprocating saws, both corded and battery type, but since I bought this little gem it's the only one I use. I trim tree branches, small tree stump and roots. It's also handy when building.

This little guy will do what you need it to and last .
Plenty of power and battery power lasts. Great for tighter spaces over a full sized corded reciprocating saw. Definitely a great addition to any tool bag.

Impressed with the performance of a tool this size

I have a Flexvolt reciprocating saw that is an absolute beast but wanted something smaller for tight spaces so I decided to give this one a try and I really am happy with the performance. The tool is fairly lightweight but still feels durable and has enough power for just about any job. I am able to use it in smaller spaces and it’s light enough to handle it with one hand. The tool cuts 2x4’s with ease with very little vibration. It’ll cut through 4x4’s but it does take longer than the heavy duty Flexvolt saw. The larger Flexvolt is obviously more powerful but this one is now my go to saw unless I need to do leave demo work. Keep in mind a good quality Dewalt saw blade makes a big difference also, I’ve tried some cheap blades and the Dewlt blades are worth the extra cost, it makes the cuts much easier. I feel this saw is a great all around saw.

One of my favorites

Use this for any conduit I can't cut with my bandsaw. Works great with emt and pvc, I've even cut some rigid with it. Great tool, easy to use and very nice to be able to just use one hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: I've owned two over the course of 4 years. The vibration is very minimum, it fits very comfortably in hand, and does well with working in tight spaces. As a plumber I highly rely on this tool and it is highly reliable. It has been dropped, coated in water, and pulled through mud. Everytime it still fires right back up when you pull the trigger. So I do trust that this tool will be reliable and outlive most others.
Cons: The stroke length of the blade could be a little longer to allow more use of the blade and would improve the time it takes to cut materials such as larger PVC, wood, and cast iron.
Overall a solid tool and very reliable! I have been more impressed than disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was concerned about having half the the blade travel as the full size saw saw (DCS367B) But Uber never had an issue cutting through anything or felt like it was taking too long. This easily balances in your hand with a battery and gets into hard to reach places and I don’t know what they did with the motor but you can’t even feel the blade moving when on full and not cutting anything if that makes sense. Super solid tool! Never had an issues cutting through thick or hard wood.

Not very durable, stops after 1-5 seconds use

Next time I picked it up to use on simple 2 x 4s it now cuts off after 5 seconds. Battery is fully charged, clean. Disappointing quality from an expensive Dewalt. What happened to y'all?
