[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 18000 BTU is both a quiet AC and quite an AC. I have a living room size 25’x40’. It not only cools the living room but also the dining room. The dual inverter is amazing. This is the second unit that I purchased. I also got the 14000 BTU LG dual inverter AC for my bedroom. Both are quiet and attractive. The snow white color of the AC is very attractive and modern looking. LG has designed a very good unit. I refer all of my family members to purchase one. I would buy no other.

This unit is so quiet I was able to install it where we really needed it. Due to the excessive noise of two prior window units it interfered with conversions and hearing the television. The face design is great improvement too. Read the instructions, manufacture recommendations on keeping outside of unit from direct sun exposure. I’m using an insulated panel board. Very satisfied so far.
