Provides gentle heat. Pad is a good size and shape to accommodate various parts of the body; around back, waist, shoulders, thigh, length of back able to cover abs and thighs at the same time. Cord is reasonably long. At the highest setting it provides plenty of heat without being overly warm. Simple, consumer friendly controller. The pad is well cushioned, so internal wires cause no discomfort and is ver flexible.
