Run time is poor

First, I have typically had good luck with Dewalt tools. This grinder disappoints. I have had this about 6months. I tried to figure out if the grinder, the charger, or the batteries were defective. Shame on me for not investigating a product properly. I was getting about 10 to 15 minutes run time. Here is why; 800W rating, 20V batteries rated at 4Ahr, so 800W/20V is 40A at full load. 4Ahr/40A is 0.1Hrs, or about 6minutes.

Very convenient tool, but blows through batteries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like this a lot more than the corded angle grinders since you aren’t tied to a wall or extension cord, but you better make sure you have a lot of charged batteries because it blows through them like they’re nothing.

Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this grinder. Didn’t know what to think about a cordless grinder, but it is so convenient. Easy to get it started and once done just put it away, no need for an extension cord. Does good with grinding and cutting. I also feel like it is well balanced.

Great run time on battery

Good features overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this grinder for about to a year and a half now and it's held up pretty good so far. I mainly use it in combination with a metal cutting blade which works great for racks and cans. The paddle trigger can be a little tricky sometimes with the small safety on it. Seem to stick on mine sometimes.

Amazing features and super light weight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned a few different grinders for doing ceramic tile and this one is by far the best on the market! The paddle switch is a very nice feature. The brake that stops the blade from spinning in 2 seconds is sweet. No more wasted time eating for the blade to stop before setting it down. I would recommend this product to any tradesman who uses a grinder frequently
