Excellent vacuum - saves me time and enjoyable to operate. We have 800 square feet in a dusty city, we have a dog who sheds so we need to vacuum at least 2-3 times per week. The Q7 does the perfect job on MOST of our floor so that I only have to do unreachable spots (I have a high-pile rug and some furniture that it can't get around). I run it 2-3 times a week and do my touch up (where it can't reach) 1 time per week. I estimate it saves me an hour a week and it's excellent at picking up all our hair (our dog's and our own).
I don't have the automatic emptying bin - I empty it myself (every 3 runs or so / I have to rinse and dry the mop cloth anyway) rather than have a giant dock with disposable bags (not environmentally sustainable, custom/not universal bags, extra cost).
Mop function is fine - I think it does a passable job, but since it takes the same cloth over the 500 wood floor with one pass only, I gather it's mainly just doing a superficial wipe - better than nothing; good to have but not the selling point for me and I would prob just do vacuum next time.
App is relatively intuitive and makes the robot vac enjoyable to operate. My only complaint is the pin-and-go spot clean feature doesn't really work...

Can't clean the black rug.

I recently bought a black rug. The Q7Max can't climb on it to clean. Even if I move the robot on the rug, it still doesn't clean well. It just goes in circles, and report the sensor error. Is it possible to turn off the sensor?

I've had it for a few days and it's absolutely changed the way I think about cleaning, similar to when I first got a dishwasher. Because it cleans daily, there is 0 chance for any kind of grime or dust or anything to accumulate, unlike when you clean every few days or if you're busy forget to do it for a while. Now there is nothing to worry about, the house is perpetually clean.
The suction is better than my normal vacuum cleaner which was struggling to get stuff out of my thick carpet. The roborock does it perfectly. What can I say, I can't believe I didn't get one earlier.

This is my third robot vacuum and by far the best to date. It cleans in a logical manner, efficiently working it's way round the rooms. Suction is amazing and cleaning is great and is easy to empty and maintain. It cleans an entire floor in less than 39 minutes and returns to the base. I'm really pleased with it.

See u every noon on time

The new robot has strong vacuum power, it cleans almost all debris left on my floor. And the water tank is also big enough for its one single trip in the house. I have never missed my cleaning schedule at noon with balanced suction power and medium water flow. Then I come home from work every day and open the door, there will be a bright and new house. The Roborock Q7Max saves a lot of time for me to do the cleaning job. I do not need to worry about the mess any more. What I need to do now is empty the dustbin and fill in the water tank before sleeping.

Quiet and relatively efficient

So far, so good. I have used it 3 times. It does really well with picking up dog hair. I found that it’s compatible with a self empty base, I will purchase the dock. All in all, I am happy with this purchase - it saves me a bit of time. I'll update this review if anything changes.

Spent a lot of time looking at different units, this one seemed perfect and it is. I run this every morning and my floors are so clean, especially with the pets, it cleans up all the hair, dust and litter... We use the quick map function, it's really easy to set up map for my house. It is smart for example it does not go into the no zone areas I have placed in the APP and goes back to the charger when the battery is low. The both-in one design of the dustbin and water tank saves step to maintain, that reminds me to fill the water tank. I already gave it a name it feels like part of our family!
