Powerful but Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this blender because it is powerful but quiet. I can blend frozen fruit and even nuts for my smoothie with ease and little noise. It’s Amazing and looks great too.

Fine Blades!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago for my dog treat business and it works great! The blender is used to crush up treats into a powder for seasoning. The blades work very nicely together to ensure even consistency of the food. It is also very easy to clean after using!

Stopped working after 3 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 months ago and used it lightly (about once a week). It's no longer working. The blender makes one slight clicking sound when I turn the knob, but the motor does not run. My last Kitchen Aid blender lasted 7 years.
I contacted the store I bought it from, and they said they couldn't do anything to fix the problem since it had been 30 days.
Kitchen Aid: I would like to a refund for this item, please.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nothing special

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lender to replace a basic Kitchen Aid blender I’d bought years ago that held up wonderfully and was a beast. The old one finally wore out after more than 20 years. It was built so well and had a glass jar. I thought this one would be similar but was sad to see that although this one was expensive, the jar is made of plastic and the unit is nowhere near as sturdy as the unit it is replacing. So while this one works, I have no expectation I’ll have it for the next 20 years and I’m saddened that a Kitchen Aid appliance is no longer something special but is now interchangeable with one from a cheaper brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor container quality

Works well but some significant drawbacks

I bought the blender based on a NYTimes Wirecutter review. I was disappointed by two big features: The container was plastic rather than glass and the blade could not be removed for cleaning. Cleaning the blender is a bit dangerous when you have to work around the blade. Other blenders I've owned allowed removal of the blade through the bottom. That said, we use the blender all the time and it does the job.
I would recommend this to a friend!
