Holy Sound Quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone whose never owned a Soundbar, I've been on the fence about purchasing one but everyone said it was a must! I finally gave in and can't believe I waited so long!! Looking back, I don't know how I watched a movie or my favorite tv shows without the immersive sound and superb quality of next level sound!! The Dolby Atmos sounds like I'm in the movie theatres!!
Not only is the sound next level, there are so many other features that come with the Samsung HW-Q800D. The built in Alexa lets me turn down the volume on my kids' tv shows without having to hunt for the remote! The super sleek design fits in with the tv and there are no bulky wires and installation needed! I could just plug in and poof, amazing quality sound and Bluetooth capabilities!!
To anyone hesitating if a soundbar is right for them, the Samsung HW-Q800D is a must for EVERYONE!!

It was a great replacement for our bedroom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Samsung soundbar to upgrade a 5 speaker Samsung system we had. The sound is amazing. It sounds like we are in a movie theater as well as at our own concert. We have very expensive sound system that is in our movie room and this is definitely in the same sound quality. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a great sounding system at an affordable price. The Dolby atmos sound really does fill the room. The sound is just incredible. The gaming is also great I told my spouse I am glad our kids are adults and for the most part don’t live here. We would never see them with how good the sounds of the games are. The a symphony wTch made top gun great. I loved hearing all the words so clearly.

Samsung does it again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar and sub is amazing! We placed it in our loft and the family spends more time here then ever. To start, the design is very sleek. It feels premium and isn't an eyesore. Setting up was a breeze. The sound is crisp and the bass is deep. One of my favorite things about it, connectivity with SmartThings. Once connected, it opens up the capabilities to get the full experience of this soundbar. Whether using the bass enhancement or voice amplifier, you're able to get the sound you are looking for. I also love the tap function. Simply tapping you phone that is playing music will transfer from the phone speakers to the soundbar. I didn't always register my tap but it is still an awesome feature. As mentioned earlier, it is in our loft, not necessarily a large area, but using the SpaceFit Sound function gave us the sounds we needed for this space. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to households looking to boost their movie watching experience.

Great Option for Many

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had gotten the HW-Q800D to place in a room which I did not want to add separate rear surround speakers in, my master bedroom. The room is medium sized. This soundbar blew my last one out of the water. The separation of audio channels that I can hear is quite amazing in such a small and sleek package. Distortion or muffled dialog is not an issue at all.
The clarity of sound from very low volume to quite high volume is very good. Also, the bass is smooth from the subwoofer and is easily scalable to personal needs/wants.
For the look, it is quite compact and works perfect with my 65" TV. I also appreciate the small front facing LED display which shows needed information. Also, not distracting as it is dim and disappears.
In the past, I have had issues with various manufacturers/models of soundbars regarding the wireless subwoofer cutting in and out due to the Orbi WiFI Mesh system we use at our home. This model has had zero issues regarding this and I'm very pleased with that.
I would highly recommend trying this soundbar out for most sized areas where rear surrounds are not wanted or can not be used.
