Brings the movie theater to a Living room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I literally have a whole new appreciation for sounds now due to all the small little nuances and effects that are brought to life through Dolby Atmos or Dts:x. I've listened to my extensive music library now multiple times just since getting this beacuse quite simply not only does the music seem alive but honestly there are so many other cool effects I'd never heard in a song I had listened to hundreds of times even. Why!? Beacuse most speakers were not able to produce the sounds and if they were when they tried it wasn't clear and ran together with all the other noise. This soundbar is just great all around for music , movies and games and brings another level of depth with its crisp clear soundstage. A+

Does not always pair with Samsung TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our Samsung soundbar for watching news and streaming services. The device does not always pair with the TV. Sometimes I have to turn the two units off and then turn them on again to get them to pair. When it works it is fine, but it does seem awfully fussy and inconsistent.

If available, we recommend using the HDMI connection to your TV.
Connecting your soundbar to a TV through HDMI will provide the best audio and user experience, often eliminating any connection or delay issues you may be experiencing. There are 2 ways to connect your soundbar with HDMI: you can connect a device to your soundbar (like a Blu-ray player) and then connect the soundbar to the TV, or you can use HDMI ARC. The first method will give you the best possible sound from external devices you regularly use. ARC is the way to go if you want great sound from streaming apps on your TV and a soundbar.
Please be sure you have the latest firmware update. Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. When the Soundbar is connected to the Internet, Auto Update allows software to update automatically even when the Soundbar is turned off. You can also update your soundbar by using the SmartThings app. If not connected to the internet, you can download it onto a USB device, and then upload it to your soundbar - no wireless connection required. Connect the USB drive that contains the updated firmware to the SERVICE port of the Soundbar.

Q-Symphony for the win

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Q-Symphony is such an amazing feature. Adding the amazing low bass, the scene when the train arrives in Polar Express was making the walls shake and gave a true cinema experience. I love the soundbar it's amazing!

Built in Alexa Doesn't Work

I like the sound bar for the audio quality, but don't plan on using the Built in Alexa because per Samsung themselves it doesn't work. No fix by Samsung in sight. False advertising and lying to the customers about this feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Connect your soundbar to Wi-Fi using the SmartThings app:
Open the SmartThings app on your phone.
Tap the + icon, select Device, then choose Samsung > Soundbar.
Follow the prompts to add your soundbar to your network.
Link your Samsung account to Alexa:
Open the Amazon Alexa app.
Go to More > Skills & Games, search for SmartThings, and enable the skill.
Sign in with your Samsung account when prompted.
Let Alexa discover your soundbar:
After linking, Alexa should automatically detect the soundbar.

Amazing sound bar

Amazing experience

I've never heard sound like this before, I was blown away and the bass is earth shattering!
Playing pc games is great.
Watching movies is great.
Even listening to music is great. 😁

Wonderful midrange soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this soundbar to watch TV shows and movies. Dialogue is super clear. Bass is powerful. I decided to purchase the rear speakers to improve the surround sound performance. I think this is the better buy than the Q930D. When I'm able to afford the 990D, I'll upgrade then.

A nice sound bar set up for the price. Some features take some getting used to as the audio is a bit strange in some instances.
