Experience the Impact!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew sound quality could be so impactful! The soundbar and speakers provide a level of immersion I never thought possible at home. Samsung has brought the experience of being immersed in the movie right to your living room with the Dolby Atmos surround sound and Q-Symphony function!!!
The set up was so simple and easy, I could do it on my own. From unboxing, universal connections, and setup, I was ready to roll in 30 minutes. Everything connected instantly to my TV without excessive bulky cables and remotes. The technology is next level! There is even a videogame mode that my kids cannot get over the effect it has on their game-play experience, feeling like they are right in the middle of the action.
10/10 would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an elevated at-home music, tv, movie-watching experience!!

Superb Sound Quality

The sound quality fills my living room as if it’s a theater - it’s evident from the first use that the Dolby Atmos sound quality is superior. The setup of the soundbar was quick and seamless, it connected wirelessly to my Samsung TV, which allowed for a clean wireless look on my entertainment stand. Having a Samsung TV paired with this setup allows for utilization of the Q-Symphony feature which up levels the amount of sound that fills the space. Would highly recommend this product paired with a Samsung tv. The subwoofer adds a level of bass that is just right, without distorting any sound. I did experience some issues in connecting the soundbar to the SmartThings app, however I was able to get it connected by manually adding it in. Overall this is a very impressive product for the price point, and I would definitely recommend for anybody looking to add theater like sound in their home with minimal setup and minimal space being utilized in their entertainment center.

Impressive Sound from a Simple Package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a large bedroom (12’x15’) and very high, vaulted ceilings to 12 feet. The Samsung HW-Q800D is meant to replace an older 2.1 soundbar that vastly lacked in volume and surround features. Can the Samsung HW-Q800D make a difference in such a voluminous space? Let me tell you that it can and then some.
First off, let’s talk about connectivity. If you have HDMI eARC on your TV, connect it there, and you are off to the races. If you want Bluetooth connectivity to your phone or tablet, that’s also easy enough as well. Finally, if you want to connect to WiFi to make it a smart speaker with Google Assistant, Alexa, or Bixby that’s easy enough with the Samsung SmartThings app.
The sound stage for the HW-Q800D truly does impress even in a large room such as mine. I tested the surround channels through my gaming console settings, and the sound bar’s ability to produce discrete locations for sound that clearly defined height and depth truly is astounding. Credit goes to SpaceFit Sound Pro for being able to calibrate the space in my room for the optimal listening experience.
I watched various movies and programs to test the sound quality and was truly amazed at the clarity of dialogue (even better with Active Voice Amplifier on), the rumble of bass from action scenes, and the fidelity of music from soundtracks. Believe me when I say it is a very enjoyable and immersive experience.
I have found that even with streaming music and programming that only has 5.1 or stereo, this system makes everything sound all that much better. Now, the only drawback to this soundbar is if you truly wanted the extra surround stage with rear speakers. If your set-up does not require this, then this is truly the best choice for a single surround soundbar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X capabilities.

Great Quality Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been wanting to get a soundbar for a long time now, so we were really excited to finally get the Samsung HW-Q800 with the Dolby Atmos. It was super easy and quick to setup and the sound difference and quality is immediately noticeable. We love the bluetooth feature to connect to the TV so we don't have to use the cord that plugs directly into the TV. However, I will say it doesn't always stay connected, so you have to choose the setting to get back to the bluetooth connection. The base sound is really great, without being too overwhelming. I notice the volume number is way lower than what we used to have it on because the sounds is so much louder. We plan to add a few additional smaller speakers that we can put outside that connects, too!

Must-have sound bar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had an older model Samsung sound bar and the upgrade to this model has been significant. I was able to unbox and setup within 10 minutes and it includes everything you need for various mounting forms etc. While I do not have much experience setting up speakers, Samsung has made it easy for me to plug in and connect to my television without the need for a professional. For the quality and sound of this sound bar you would expect to have some hard-wiring work done but this is not the case.
I have it set up in the living room where I watch TV the most alongside family and friends. The surround sound is crisp, clean and immersive. The sound bar is sleek and provides a modern aesthetic. Did I mention you could connect to the sound bar wirelessly? You are able to connect to various smart devices like Amazon Alexa or Apple AirPlay with the smart integration system.
Its powerful 5.1.2 Ch. True Dolby Atmos Sound makes my living room feel like a movie theater despite it being one system with a sound bar and subwoofer. Overall I'm highly impressed with the quality of this system and it's performance.

Unbelievable Sound!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound bar has crystal clear sound with amazingly deep bass from the subwoofer. The package you receive will have the soundbar, subwoofer, mounting brackets (to mount on wall if you choose), cables for a normal hookup, and remote.
If you're needing the optical hookup you will need to purchase separately.
The subwoofer, is amazing and most of the time we're running at -6 because it is so deep.
Although, if you really want to rock you can go to
+6 and that's a full on concert in your house
along with shaking! Concert like experience or
movie theater experience from this!!

You can choose surround, standard, or adaptive sound with the sound mode button. Our preference is adaptive for a nice, clear crisp sound.
By pressing the tone control button on the remote you get to adjust the tremble and bass to your preferences.
With the channel level button on the remote, you can adjust the side, front, and center speakers individually on the sound bar to optimize the sound in the room.
My favorite is watching music videos on tv, the sound makes me feel like I'm at the concert. It's unbelievable!!
Voice enhanced feature is an option that provides a very clear sound.
Night mode is a great feature that turns the bass down and is a more relaxed softer sound.
Installation was super easy, subwoofer is already paired to the soundbar.
Highest quality device that we've ever used and Samsung is amazing!! We listened to music and watched movies and it felt like we were a new level for sound!
