Saw this machine advertised on Lenovo’s website. Excellent specifications - slim, lightweight, 14” touch screen, new fast processor, and truly portable with an amazing battery life. Almost no bloatware. Very reasonable price. Loved it so much we bought two!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, going to be honest here. Two years ago, I desperately needed a new laptop. My husband bought me a competitor's brand out of habit, a Christmas gift. Though we used that brand for years, frankly, it has gone downhill and the last several PC's we bought from them had issues. My most recent one (the Christmas gift) overheated so badly in the first four months I had it that it would not even boot up. We sent it back under warranty. They allegedly fixed it and sent it back; it continued to overheat no matter what I did (cooling trays, unplugging it when not in use, etc.).
Less than two years later, we both feared my laptop would burn the house down, and I asked for a Lenovo as a replacement. I had wanted one to begin with, as my daughter highly recommended the brand, having used them for work for years.
I have to say, I am impressed. This little laptop is perfect for me! It's lightning fast, lightweight, and does everything I need it to do. It was super easy to set it up. Love the compact size and backlit keyboard, which has a lovely touch (a big plus, as I love to write). The display is bright and crisp. For the record, I've yet to hear its internal fan come on, and it has not overheated even once. It's so nice to have confidence that my laptop won't burn the house down.
