Cleaning & pod disposal the worst in the lineup!

The Vertuo Up has an attractive, slender design for countertops where space is precious. I especially appreciate opening the Nespresso Smart app to prep. the machine for cleaning and descaling. With prior machines, I'd have to re-learn the procedure every time.
Completely downhill from there. Disposing of pods creates a mess every time, with the tray assembly typically filled with residual coffee that dribbles everywhere as you make yourself to the sink. The pods themselves are wet and for those of us that enjoy the recycling process, even getting the pods into the bag creates an additional mess.
This is our 4th machine since coming aboard with Nespresso and by far the worst machine thus far to work with.

I have zero interest in investing in a 5th machine just to return to another machine so I'm stuck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Vertuo Up is attractive but messy

I don’t often write reviews, but I was so disappointed in the new Vertuo Up. I will say that I like the design and that it warms up in just a few seconds (an improvement over the 30-second warm up of my last machine). But overall, this machine is much worse quality than any other Nespresso machine I’ve purchased. The design has the pods drop straight down into a basket but lots of water falls into that basket/tray, too, which causes mold since there is no ventilation unless you clean it daily. It also splashes a ton when pouring the coffee into your cup; not sure if that is the design of the spout or the length the coffee has to fall, but especially on my “pearl white” machine, that means I have to wipe down the machine after each use. The quality of the coffee appears to be the same as with my previous machines, but given the design issues and daily cleaning required, I am already considering replacing my Vertuo Up with another machine (after only a couple months).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good function, easy to use, it fulfilled all my expectations about it 💜 I liked how easy it is to clean it, the espressos look super good, it is very safe to use and it is made of good material with a lot of quality

Espresso Vertuo pop is one of my favorite coffee machines, I love how it is perfect for small kitchens, ice coffee lovers, it has smart features, and also automatic pod ejection. This coffee machine is easy to set up and versatile.

Vertuo pop in liquorice I have had for 3 months and I just love it.
This little machine packs a punch when it comes to making your favorite coffees
Including dessert or just a espresso to make your day extra special.
Highly recommend. Value is worth the price. Easy to use .and it is pretty hefty for its size.
Love the color also but it comes in others to match your style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Vertuo coffee machine passed away just a few weeks ago. After quite a few years of service I knew it would need replacement. Your timing of a wonderful offer allowed me to purchase the new Vertup Pop with the dark gray top. The coffee it makes is just as delicious as my older model made. Easy instructions, great choices to try with a variety of new samples of coffee and I so happy to have my delicious cup of morning coffee.
